Gethsemane is an integral part of the Biblical story. Here are such important and significant shrines as the Tomb of the Mother of God, the Church of All Nations of the famous Italian architect Antonio Barlucci on the site of the Catholic order of the Franciscans, with part of the preserved ancient Gethsemane garden, the Russian Orthodox Church of St. Mary Magdalene, built in 1888. After Gethsemane, our path continues through the Lion Gate on Via Dolorosa to the Wailing Wall of Mount Zion and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
